) Pick your keywords very carefully and make sure you have a top 20 list of powerful keywords that are mentioned
throughout your site. Don’t repeat
these more than 7 times per page. It
will look to spamy to the search
engines when there spider bots come to call.
2) Make sure your main keyword is
mentioned as close as possible to the
top of your websites homepage. Within
the first 300 characters is best but
don’t repeat it twice within the first 300. Also try and mention one keyword per header.
3) Keep it relevant! Don’t go off topic! As long as your
main keywords match
the content or theme of your site you
will rank higher and get listed quicker.
4) Stick to one theme per site and create 5 content pages
featuring articles a month to keep the search engines
interested and your visitors. Pick a keyword related to
your sites theme and write a article on it. Do this 5
times a month if possible. It doesn’t always have to be a new topic but it should be written around
a high demand low supply keyword that’s related to your sites theme.
5) After you have your site ready for the spider bots you should
search sites that are related to your own sites theme and get
them to link to your site. The best way to do this is by typing
your main keywords into the search engines and seeing what
sites list the highest. Write a short email to the top ranking
sites webmasters and state that you have viewed there site
and whish to trade links with them. Tell them about
something you enjoyed reading on there site and how
you would like to link to it through your own site.
Then ask them to link to a particular part of your site.
Keep doing this over and over.
